In her everyday life Bonny seemed rather quiet and a bit boring – however, when sent to work this impression would vanish within a split second: she had the real Palgrave qualities of hunting with lots of style and was a pleasure to watch.
Bonny came to my home as an adult and very quickly learnt to appreciate living in the house and being a family pet. Although she had lived in the kennel and – as all dogs imported from England – though she had never been to any "puppy playgroups", she was a very sociable bitch with a sound temperament and a very high willingness to learn.
Bonny is the “foundation bitch” for my kennel. She is the dam of the – to date - most versatile and most successful dog from my kennel, Haredale Carin Chuck.
Bonny is the dam of the B to F-litters (a total of 27 puppies). Unfortunately I didn’t keep a bitch from her first two litters and later she only produced dogs, so that I lost this line.
When Bonny lived in retirement, Dorothee Hardewig begged me to let her have Bonny, thus Bonny was allowed to spend her "old days" together with her granddaughter "Timberdale Minette". Thank you Dorothee and Clemens that you looked after her so well.
